Terms to know: Canon- A character created by Erin Hunter Mary Sue/Larry Stue- The perfect character with no flaws. This is a bad thing, as it can ruin a roleplay. try and make your characters realistic. Drama King/Queen- The character that has all the bad luck in the world. This is another bad thing. One Liner Post- A reply (or intro) to a thread that is practically one line and contains no details. God-Modding- Controlling someone else's character, also having everything your character do work perfectly. Metagaming- Having your character know information they shouldn't. Open thread- A thread where anyone can join Closed thread- A thread where only those mentioned in the title may reply. Rules: You may not, under any circumstance, have a canon character come in and take action in your thread! You may reference them and things they've said and done. Your character may not at any time be a Mary Sue/Larry Stue or a Drama King/Queen. This kills the fun for other RPers. You may check to see if you're characters a Mary Sue/Larry Stue here. Do not use one liner posts! This is exceptionally rude to other members involved in the thread. Imagine you spent an hour on a long, nice, descriptive post and the only reply you get is one line long! Do not God-Mod. This makes it beyond realism and no one will enjoy RPing with you. Metagaming. See God-Moding (above). Open thread: any one may join this thread. There is no limit to how many people may join an open thread, but a suggested limit is 10 people so every one is replied to in even amounts. Closed thread: Only people or groups specified in the thread's title may reply. Closed threads can be partially open, meaning in the title it will say "Cats I have not RPed with yet" or something like that. Overall thread note: You should mark whether a thread is open or closed in parenthesis/brackets. (ie [Open!]/[Closed to Medicine Cats]/[Closed to Moonsong])
